Well where should I begin…FUN FUN AND MORE FUN I went to Sol Sirenas Coral in Varadero with a girlfriend who was a lot of fun. We suntanned on the beautiful beach all day and took a dunk in the refreshing pool before taking an afternoon nap that would give us the energy to go out and enjoy the Varadero nightlife.

I did it I had my first trip to Varadero Cuba. Cuba was one of the places in world I had absolutely no desire to travel to. I really don’t know why I guess because of the politics over the years I always thought that if I were going to go to the Caribbean that there were so many other beautiful places to go to.

I am generally a beach person and usually base my vacations around where the nicest beach is. I have traveled a lot to Varadero and spent so much time just relaxing on the beaches there that I finally decided to be adventurous and take a day trip to Havana City.

Being in Cuba has been exiting, but being at the Habanos Festival in Havana this week has been more than that, and it is something one can not miss. The event is held every year and it is such a success with exhibitions, tours, humidors auctions showing the finest pieces of art completely handmade, and many other activities.
